Salary – £31,110 - £36,600 (depending on experience)

About The Role
We are looking for a Technical Records & Projects Coordinator (Knowledge Technician) to join our Wastewater Treatment & Bio-Resources team at Bran Sands. In this role you will work closely with the Wastewater Treatment Manager to ensure technical documentation and records are accurately managed across SharePoint and our Technical Library. You will also support a range of internal projects aimed at improving efficiency, driving innovation and enhancing asset performance.
This position offers a balance of office‑based and hands‑on work. You will carry out routine inspections, support the implementation of health and safety standards, and contribute to the day‑to‑day running of the facility. You will help develop and implement records management processes, transfer asset data to corporate systems and maintain key regulatory documentation such as written schemes for PLVE inspections, MCERT flow meters and CHPQA compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage technical documentation and records across SharePoint and the Technical Library. - Support internal projects focused on operational improvement, innovation and asset performance. - Conduct routine site inspections and support the implementation of health and safety standards. - Develop and implement records management processes, including asset data transfer and regulatory documentation maintenance. - Identify trends, spot issues and take action to improve processes.
About You
You should have proven experience in document management and hold an HNC in a relevant subject, or be qualified through hands‑on experience. Other desirable attributes include:
* Background from the water industry or a similar process‑driven environment.
* Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to reprioritise rapidly.
* Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety.
* Experience with AutoCAD and a keen eye for detail.
* Strong communication skills and practical, hands‑on approach.
* Familiarity with structured procedures and equipment; experience in water or wastewater operations is an added advantage.
* A full UK driving licence.
Job Requirements
This is a safety or security critical role. As a condition of formal employment you will be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test within four weeks of your start date. Failure to pass a pre‑employment drug screen may lead to the revocation of the job offer. A DBS check will also be required prior to employment.
