Description Financial Management & Control Assist in preparing annual budgets and monitor expenditure across departments Support budget holders with financial planning and reporting Produce cost centre reports and assist in regular budget meetings Monitor creditors/debtors and contribute to process improvements Banking & Reporting Complete bank reconciliations, manage BACS runs, and support monthly management accounts Oversee credit cards and ensure timely banking of funds Purchasing & Income Ensure prompt and accurate processing of orders and invoices Oversee invoicing for services provided and manage debtor recovery in line with policies Payroll & Financial Admin Support monthly payroll reconciliations and liaise with the payroll provider Assist in salary variance analysis and ensure accurate staff records on budget systems Contribute to internal and external audit preparation Team Leadership Supervise junior finance staff, support training, and ensure smooth daily operations within the finance office Profile A successful Finance Officer should have: Proven experience in accounting or finance roles. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
