Part of a major international group, this modern manufacturing facility is recruiting an experienced Maintenance & Facilities Manager to lead a team maintaining all plant assets and site services in a world-class production environment.
Maintenance & Facilities Manager
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000
Location: West Midlands (commutable from Wolverhampton, Telford, Walsall, Lichfield, Tamworth, Stafford, North Birmingham)
Reporting to the General Manager, the Maintenance & Facilities Manager will be responsible for maximising the operating efficiency of the production plant, equipment, and site facilities. The role involves managing your team to ensure breakdown and planned maintenance are carried out safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and mentor a multi-skilled maintenance engineering team working over a three-shift pattern.
2. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements including HSE, COSHH, RAMS, Environmental, PUWER, etc.
3. Prioritise preventative and corrective maintenance work orders within the CMMS.
4. Manage and control maintenance resources to achieve required OEE levels and safety standards.
5. Manage, coach, and mentor your team.
6. Promote the company's HSE policies across the department and plant.
Requirements:
Applications are sought from experienced Maintenance Supervisors and Managers eager to progress their careers within a highly automated manufacturing environment. Candidates should have:
* Time-served mechanical or electrical apprenticeship; IOSH or NEBOSH qualification desirable.
* Proven leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
* Experience with planned maintenance, TPM, RCM, and CMMS systems.
* Broad knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance.
* Experience with plastic injection moulding machinery, assembly lines, PLC controls, and robotics.
