We are a growing, furniture manufacturer in the furniture and interiors industry, known for high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional service. We are looking for an experienced and dependable Senior Warehouse Operative & Delivery Driver to join our small, hands-on team.
This is a key role for someone practical, organised, and flexible. The ideal candidate will be confident leading day-to-day warehouse operations, carrying out UK-wide deliveries, and assisting with furniture installations on-site. You must be comfortable with early starts, occasional overnight travel, and varying working hours depending on project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily warehouse operations within a small team
* Receive, check, and book in incoming goods
* Prepare outgoing orders
* quality control goods inwards and outwards
* Load and deliver furniture and goods to clients and sites across the UK
* Assist with on-site furniture installations and placements
* Organise weekly delivery and installation schedules
* Liaise with upholsterers and suppliers to keep timelines on track
* Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient warehouse environment
* Uphold health and safety standards at all times
* Take a hands-on approach across all duties and lead by example
Requirements:
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* computer skills essential
* Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role, ideally in a senior or supervisory position
* Physically fit and capable of safely lifting and handling large or heavy goods
* Handy with tools and able to assist with basic furniture installations
* Flexible with working hours, including early starts, late finishes, and occasional overnights when required
* Willing and able to travel for deliveries and installations across the UK
* Strong organisational skills with experience managing schedules and coordinating with suppliers
* Detail-focused, particularly around quality checking goods in and out
* Comfortable working both independently and within a small team
* Health and safety awareness and a proactive approach to safe working practices
* Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)

Pay: £28,000.00 per year
