Overview
Join to apply for the Apprentice Demand Planner role at GXO Logistics, Inc. At GXO, we are recruiting a Supply Chain Apprentice at our Greene King site in Trafford Park, Manchester. Over two years, you will learn vital skills in supply and demand, forecasting, data analysis and customer service. You will also study a fully funded L3 Supply Chain Practitioner Advanced Apprenticeship which will provide strong future career prospects.
Note: This site will be moving to Middleton by the end of 2025/2026, so travel to both sites should be possible. Your working week will be Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm on site.

Responsibilities
* Work as part of a busy team, ensuring food stocks meet the required level
* Collaborate with buyers and analysts to ensure on-time deliveries and accurate forecasting
* Deliver excellent customer service to the client at all times
* Report on quality, product or stock issues within set time scales
* Maintain company systems accurately, including raising purchase orders
Qualifications and skills
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build strong working relationships
* Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel)
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong work ethic with initiative and the ability to prioritise workload
* A genuine desire to learn and grow; there will be development opportunities during the scheme and beyond
