Contracts Manager
Internal & External Planned Maintenance – Social Housing
£75,000 – £90,000 + package (dependant on experience) + car allowance London & Kent
My client is currently looking for an experienced Contract Manager to join their growing business. They are looking for someone to head up a newly won contract and join the business in an exciting period of growth.
Responsibilities
* Manage the delivery of SHDF & Re‑cladding schemes across London & Kent.
* Ensure P&L, budgets and deadlines are met.
* Maintain the highest standard of service and quality, including cost control, creating CPP, programming works and budgeting.
* Implement strong Health & Safety across all projects.
* Lead a direct team that includes item managers, supervisors, RLOs and subcontractors.
* Report directly to the Operations Manager who will support contract success.
Qualifications
* Extensive building knowledge and experience managing re‑cladding and retrofit contracts.
* Experience managing multiple site teams and strategic project planning.
* Strong problem‑solving skills in complex situations.
* Deep knowledge of BSR and the Building Safety Act.
* Strong IT skills – proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook and Word.
* Valid SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS and Asbestos Awareness certificates.
