DP World are recruiting for an IT Project Manager to provide support to the Regional IT team supporting Infrastructure, Transformation, Information Security, Contract Logistics, Freight, Ports and Terminals as well as global technology accounts. This is a remote role reporting to our IT Program Manager and supporting key projects across Europe and wider Global accounts.
Manage multiple regional IT customer projects simultaneously. Provide detailed project planning and workstream allocations. Determine project scope, resource requirements, issues, and risks. Coordinate activities with workstream leads and communicate with stakeholders. Provide status reporting, task tracking, and manage escalations.
You will act as a liaison between operations management and IT teams. Manage issue logging, risks, and change control. Support continuous process improvement and conform to synchronized management system requirements. Achieve effectiveness by following the Quality Policy and meeting company objectives. Our ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in a multi-national enterprise environment. They possess strong project leadership skills, a solid IT background, and experience in complex supply chain logistics. Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. The candidate should be detail-oriented, results-driven, and capable of collaborating across diverse teams. Fluency in English is required, with additional languages being a bonus.
Location: UK (Bicester/Oxford/Midlands area preferred) with expected 25% travel across UK/Europe
Hours: 40 Hour per week Monday – Friday, Permanent
How You Will Contribute
* Manage multiple regional IT customer projects simultaneously.
* Provide detailed project planning and workstream allocations for all involved parties.
* Determine the scope for each IT project and proactively manage adherence to scope.
* Determine resource requirements for all projects with the appropriate IT workstream owners.
* Determine the issues and risks for all projects.
* Coordinate activities with each workstream lead.
* Communicate effectively with all major stakeholders involved in the projects.
* Provide status level reporting for all active projects.
* Task tracking, issue tracking, risk tracking, and budget tracking.
* Liaise with internal and external customers to provide project status reporting and visibility.
* Manage escalations within the IT function to ensure timely responses to issues and risks.
* Facilitate the definition of requirements, acceptance, and implementation of IT business solutions to ensure the realization of customer expectations.
* Act as the liaison/point of contact between operations management and IT (software development, QA, DBAs, and infrastructure teams).
* Manage, diagnose, and prioritize issue logging in conjunction with the Business Project Manager.
* Proactively manage risks and issues in advance of occurrence.
* Manage change control on all active projects.
* Support continuous process improvement throughout the project delivery lifecycle.
What You Will Bring
* Master’s degree (Computer Science, or Business Administration with emphasis in Computer Science), or equivalent professional experience.
* 5 years working in a multi-national enterprise environment.
* Demonstrated project leadership and supervisory experience required including significant relationship management in dealings with internal and external customers.
* IT project experience in design and delivery of complex supply chain logistics required.
* Strong IT background required with broad exposure to IT solutions design and delivery of high end/high volume/complex solutions (application and infrastructure) deployed on a continental/international basis.
* Experience and understanding of enterprise architecture and software systems relating to the provision of 3rd party logistics solutions and integration to Customer systems and local automation/leading edge technologies (AGV/Wearables/Conveyor/PLC driven systems).
* Project experience in the logistics industry across multiple areas, including but not limited to supply chain delivery in fulfilment and warehousing, automotive, technology, industrial, consumer, retail, health care, high complexity manufacturing logistics.
* Strong communication skills - exceptional listener, clear communicator, excellent writer, and eloquent speaker.
* Problem-solving skills - enjoy solving problems, getting to the root cause, and finding creative, innovative solutions.
* Detail-oriented - pay strong attention to details, stay focused, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

* IT skills - highly proficient in the full Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project. Understand the Software Development Life Cycle and Enterprise IT solutions at a macro level.
* Flexibility to travel - ready to travel up to 25% of the time across the globe to our operations and regional offices to conduct meetings and support new business operations.
* Languages - fluent in English; additional languages are a bonus, in particular German, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Mandarin, Hindi.
