Sales Manager, Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical EMEA

The Manager Sales is responsible for managing sales activities and accelerate sales to exceed our annual and regional strategic plans for the Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical category in EMEA.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Business Growth – Deliver growth for a portfolio of active and assigned prospect customers and distributors within the category. Uncover and develop new business opportunities within the category in line with company objectives and strategy. Develop strong and growing share of wallet at existing customers in Texture and Healthful Solutions. Identify and on-board new customers. Grow our overall sales share.
2. Strategic Plans – Develop and execute on specialty sales plans for the category in line with the platform strategy and Ingredion product portfolio.
3. Major Pharma Account Management + New Customer Development – Manage major cross-regional customer accounts to deliver profitable growth e.g., identifying opportunities, business development and price negotiation. Continuously develop new customers and broaden the stakeholder network to drive business growth and a positive customer experience along the Buying Cycle.
4. Innovation – Bring new ideas and concepts for consideration on a regular basis. Be the voice of customer for our customer base in the assigned region. Accelerate sales of recently launched products. Identify new pockets of growth and emerging trends. Innovate by utilizing digital technology to help deliver better commercial service to customers, by implementing new ways of working and implementation of digital tools. Embrace the usage of data and spearhead utilization of AI technology in providing better service to our customers.
5. Distributor management - Manage Distributors to grow the business with small and medium size customers across all categories.
6. Price and contract management – lead the contracting process to ensure it delivers value to customers whilst delivering maximum value for Ingredion. Ensure the category pricing and profitability targets are met.
7. Customer Centricity - Continuously develop and broaden the relationship with Customers including building the stakeholder network at customers. Create a positive customer experience across relevant functions and seniority levels. Lead the sales team to deliver productivity targets (KPI’s) by increasing presence (face to face) and virtual connections at our customers. Ensure our customers receive the appropriate level of service and support in-line with our customer segmentation.
8. Internal stakeholder management - Develop an effective working relationship across relevant functions. Support and coach the team to establish effective collaboration and constructive exchange of the team with other functions. Ensure SFDC pipelines are executed upon to maximise growth, ensuring resource deployment is utilized efficiently.
Qualified candidates will have:
9. Degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Science, Pharmaceuticals or other related discipline
10. Strong technical sales or support experience in B2B Pharma & Healthcare industry
11. Fluent in English (written and spoken)
12. Understanding of industrial processes and formulations.
13. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
14. Strong analytical, problem solving & numeracy skills
15. Commercial Acumen
16. Passionate about sales, account management and hunting new business opportunities

The role will require travel throughout the region to visit customers and other Ingredion sites (~20%).
