About the Role: Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a welcoming primary school in Rock Ferry. This is a full-time position, working closely with children who require extra support to access learning and reach their full potential. The role will involve supporting pupils with a range of needs including Autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. You will work both on a 1:1 basis and in small group settings, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND Implement tailored learning strategies and interventions Support pupils with EHCPs and individual learning plans Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO Monitor and record pupil progress The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience working with children with SEND (school or alternative provision experience preferred) A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach Strong behaviour management skills A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential) An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply) Why Join Prospero Teaching?
