Were working with a leading UK infrastructure contractor delivering major renewable energy and civils projects across Scotland. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Section Engineer to support delivery of a long term project in Inverness.

The Role
You will play a key role in the successful delivery of civils packages, supporting the Project Manager and overseeing all aspects of site engineering.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing day-to-day site engineering activities
* Setting out, QA, and ensuring works are delivered to spec
* Producing and managing RAMS, ITPs, and quality documentation
* Carrying out design checks, take-offs, and technical reviews
* Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring programme adherence
* Maintaining accurate site records and documentation
* Supporting health & safety compliance across site
* Client liaison and attendance at site/progress meetings
What Were Looking For
* Experience in a Section Engineer / Site Engineer role within heavy civils
* Strong background in at least one of the following:
o Earthworks
o Reinforced concrete structures
o Drainage / utilities
o Roads / infrastructure
* Proven experience with:
o Setting out
o RAMS & ITPs
o Quality assurance processes
* Ability to manage xxuwjjq subcontractors and interface with site teams
* Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable:
* Experience on renewable energy or infrastructure projects
* CSCS card (essential), SMSTS/SSSTS preferred
