I am currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable client for an experienced Gas Engineer / Plumber to join their team. This is a mobile role offering varied and rewarding work across domestic settings.
Role Overview:
This position involves a broad range of plumbing and gas engineering responsibilities, including:
1. Conducting planned annual gas safety checks and boiler services
2. Diagnosing and repairing boiler breakdowns
3. Installing new boilers and domestic heating systems
4. Completing all domestic plumbing works, including bathroom installations
5. Maintaining accurate work records via an online system
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out heating engineering and plumbing tasks including repairs, servicing, and installations
2. Install domestic heating systems to manufacturer standards and regulatory requirements
3. Issue gas safety notices and certificates
4. Attend scheduled appointments across Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire
5. Drive and maintain the company vehicle in a safe and professional manner
6. Keep in contact with support and coordination teams to receive updates and resolve any issues
7. Ensure compliance with all training and certification requirements
8. Represent the company positively to clients and the public
Essential Skills & Experience:
1. NVQ Level 2 (or higher) in Plumbing & Heating
2. Gas Safe registered
