Private Client Solicitor - Wills, Trusts & Probate
Location: Reading (Hybrid - 2 to 3 days in the office)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

A well-regarded and progressive law firm is seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Private Client Solicitor to join its established Wills, Trusts & Probate team based in Reading. The role offers a fantastic opportunity to take on quality work within a supportive, friendly, and growing team.
The Opportunity:
The successful candidate will manage a broad private client caseload with an initial emphasis on probate, as well as:
* Drafting and advising on wills and trusts
* Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
* Advising on inheritance tax and wider estate planning
* Administering complex and high-value estates
There is also the opportunity to work closely with a senior partner on complex tax and estate planning matters for High-Net-Worth individuals. Prior experience in this area-or a strong interest in developing expertise-would be a distinct advantage.
The Team & Environment:
You'll be joining a friendly and experienced team known for delivering a high standard of client care. The firm offers a hybrid working model, with 2-3 days a week in the Reading office and the remainder from home, along with excellent administrative and technological support.
Candidate Profile:
* Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (2-5 years' PQE)
* Strong experience in probate and general private client work
* Confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive and client-focused approach, with a genuine interest in business development
* STEP qualification or working towards it would be advantageous, but not essential
