Job Description:

As an Activities Co-ordinator with Rushcliffe Care Group, you will be part of the team responsible for supporting service users to live meaningful, engaging, and fulfilling lives. Your role will have a direct impact on wellbeing, social interaction, and day-to-day experience.

About the Service

Beaumanor Care Home is a purpose-built nursing service in Loughborough that supports up to 53 service users. The home offers a safe and welcoming environment with all-ensuite single rooms, many with patio access, spacious lounges, dining areas with canal views, a hair salon, accessible bathing facilities, lift access and well-kept gardens with sensory planting and quiet seating areas.

About the Role

As an Activities Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for organising and delivering a varied programme of activities that enhances the quality of life for service users.

You will plan both group and one-to-one activities, taking into account individual interests, preferences, abilities, and backgrounds. This includes organising a mix of occupational and social activities, both within the home and in the community.

The role includes arranging events such as seasonal celebrations, outings, and social sessions, while encouraging involvement from families, staff, and the wider community.

You will maintain accurate records of activities and contribute to individual activity care plans, ensuring that engagement is meaningful and tailored.

You will also support service user and relative meetings, encouraging feedback and participation to continuously improve the activity programme.

You are creative, organised, and able to plan engaging activities for a range of individuals.

You are confident working both independently and as part of a team.

You are approachable and able to build positive relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.

You understand the importance of dignity, choice, and inclusion in a care environment.

You are reliable, flexible, and able to adapt activities based on needs and circumstances.
