Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the Global Marketing team, you will drive strategic marketing initiatives that enhance brand positioning, lead generation, and business growth within the Pharma industry. You will develop and execute high-impact marketing campaigns, craft compelling content, and manage multichannel promotional strategies to strengthen SGS’s market presence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Participate in the development of the overall global strategy for the business unit including a framework through which key markets, specific services and financial targets are set.
* Develop and implement the annual marketing strategy in collaboration with the VP of Pharma and cross-functional teams.
* Manage and optimize the global marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
* Lead the development of digital and print campaigns to increase brand visibility and audience engagement.
* Define go-to-market strategies for new services, product launches, or geographic expansions.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and maintain high-quality marketing assets (fact sheets, brochures, whitepapers, articles, presentations).
* Develop compelling and consistent messaging for web, email, webinars, and social media.
* Execute and analyze organic and paid marketing campaigns, including PPC, account-based marketing, and lead generation initiatives.
* Design and oversee the production of marketing collateral, including digital banners, ads, and event materials, collaborating with agencies as needed.
* Oversee social media and email marketing strategies to optimize engagement and visibility.
* Ensure all marketing activities align with SGS branding, digital guidelines, and compliance regulations (GDPR, industry standards, etc.).
* Plan and coordinate industry event participation, including trade shows and webinars.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including industry associations and media partners.
* Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, optimizing strategies based on insights.
* Track market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic adjustments.
Qualifications
PROFILE & REQUIRED SKILLS
* 6+ years of experience in digital marketing, content strategy, and campaign execution.
* Strong skills in content creation, copywriting, and visual marketing.
* Hands-on expertise in social media marketing (LinkedIn) and email automation.
* Solid understanding of the Pharma and Biopharma industries.
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality content delivery.
* Strong collaboration skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
* Proficiency in marketing automation (Eloqua, Salesforce) and design tools (Canva or equivalent).
* Event management experience, including logistics and promotional execution.
* Fluent in English with excellent communication skills (additional languages a plus).
* Data-driven mindset, with experience analyzing KPIs and optimizing performance.
* Comfortable working in a global, fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.

* This position requires minimal global travel (1-2 times a year)
