National Locums is currently hiring Consultant Dermatologists and SPR/Associate Specialists to cover the following areas:
* Minor ops
* Biologics
* 2ww clinics
Pay rates start from £800 per day and can go up to £2500 per day. Since most of this work is private clinic-led, payment will be via limited company, umbrella, or self-employed arrangements. The contract duration is from 3 months up to 1 year.
The role requires the ability to see general dermatology patients referred directly by GPs, undertake investigations, diagnose conditions, and recommend treatments.
Patients should be referred back to their GP with ongoing management advice when appropriate.
Refer patients for specialist opinions when necessary, including Senior Consultant Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeons, or Dermatology Specialist Nurses.
Support the dermatology nurse specialist through joint patient reviews and case discussions.
Perform diagnostic biopsies, cryotherapy, curettage, and cautery procedures.
The successful candidate will have nursing support during clinics.
