Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager Location: Rochdale Salary: £55,000-£65,000 DOE We are supporting a growing, family-run construction business operating across domestic and commercial projects ranging from £10k to £1m+. With an ambitious pipeline of tenders planned for 2026, they are seeking an experienced and commercially-minded Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to join the team and play a key role in supporting the business's growth. The Role As Senior QS / Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial management of projects from inception to completion, working closely with clients, subcontractors, and the internal team. Your key responsibilities will include: Preparing clear and accurate pricing documents and cost plans Managing budgets, cashflow, valuations, and variations Handling contracts and subcontractor agreements (primarily JCT) Supporting tender submissions and bid preparation (2026 onwards) Conducting site visits and liaising with clients, suppliers, and project teams Identifying opportunities to improve commercial processes and contribute to company growth The Candidate You will be a confident, commercially-focused professional with experience across domestic and commercial construction projects.
