Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse or suitable trainee to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will assist dentists during procedures, provide excellent patient care, and ensure the smooth operation of daily clinic activities. Duties
* Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials.
* Ensure patient comfort and provide reassurance throughout treatment.
* Maintain strict infection control protocols, sterilising instruments and ensuring clinical cleanliness.
* Develop dental radiographs as required.
* Manage patient records accurately using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
* Provide pre- and post-treatment advice to patients regarding oral health care.
* Support administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient correspondence.
* Ensure the clinical environment is organised, well-stocked, and hygienic at all times.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting is desirable.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
* Knowledge of nursing principles relevant to dental care.
* Proficiency in IT systems for managing patient records and appointments.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Ability to work as part of a team whilst maintaining a professional attitude.
Relevant dental nursing qualification or registration with the General Dental Council (GDC). Pay subject to age and experience
Working Hours Monday to Friday with some Saturday availibility

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 38.75 per week
