We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare Integration Developer to join our Software Development team. The role focuses on delivering integration solutions across the Trust and Integrated Care Board (ICB) to support clinical and corporate transformation.
The Trust is engaged in various programmes to digitally enable clinical services, providing exposure to new technologies and skills. You will also have opportunities to contribute to regional projects shaping the NHS's digital future in Lancashire and South Cumbria.
Applicants should have specialist knowledge of healthcare integration, extensive experience with Intersystems HealthShare integration engines, Object Script, HL7 v2, FHIR, and web services.

You will be responsible for developing integration solutions, including reviewing requirements, analysis, design, testing, implementation, documentation, maintenance, and support. This includes integrating new and existing systems, providing cost-effective, risk-controlled, robust, reliable, and secure solutions. You will also offer expert guidance on healthcare integration to local and regional project boards.
The role involves developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, clinical staff, software suppliers, and other IT professionals, as well as assisting in procurement, commissioning, and monitoring project deliveries.
