Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly driven and target-oriented Business Development Manager to accelerate revenue growth in our commercial cleaning portfolio by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and consistently exceeding sales targets. You will be responsible for winning new contracts across various sectors such as offices, commercial, retail, healthcare, education, and industrial facilities. This role suits a proactive and dynamic individual who thrives on hitting targets, building pipelines, and closing long-term service agreements.
Key Details
* Hours: Full-Time 40hrs/week.
* Salary: £35,000 annual base salary with incentive plan in place for reaching sales targets.

Overview of Responsibilities:
* Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and online channels in a professional and timely manner.
* Provide accurate information about products and services to support customer needs.
* Identify sales opportunities and proactively promote relevant products or services
* Process orders, bookings, and payments accurately and efficiently.
* Maintain up-to-date customer records within CRM and internal systems.
* Resolve customer issues promptly, ensuring a positive experience.
* Follow up on leads and customer enquiries to convert opportunities into sales.
* Achieve individual and contribute to team targets.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Foster and maintain long lasting client relationships.
* Handle inbound and outbound phone calls with professionalism and a courteous manner.
* Manage bookings, reschedules, and service updates.
* Communicate clearly and effectively with customers to provide accurate information and support.
* Maintain accurate customer and job data to support correct invoicing.
* Update internal systems with job details, notes, and customer information.
* Assist customers with bookings, ensuring all details are entered accurately and efficiently.
* Maintain precise and up-to-date records of customer interactions and booking information.
* Liaise efficiently with other key departments within the business.
* Support day-to-day office administration tasks to ensure the smooth running of the business.
* Contribute to a positive customer experience at every stage of interaction.
Skills Required:
* Proven success in a target-driven B2B sales or business development role.
* Experience in commercial cleaning, facilities management, or service-based industries (preferable).
* Strong track record of winning contracts and hitting revenue targets.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage a full sales pipeline.
* Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding.
* Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
* Full UK driving licence.
