Role: Driver
Location: St Albans
Hours:8am to 5pm - Monday to friday
Salary: £12.21 per hour
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a 3.5 tonne driver to join our clients successful team.
Duties of a Driver:
1. Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
2. Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of the cargo
3. Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
4. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues or malfunctions
What we would like from you:
5. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
6. Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a warehouse or delivery setting
7. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
8. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
9. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
