How would you like to get paid for five days, but only work four? Outcomes First Group is trialing a 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) where you can work one day less each week (or equivalent hours) while still receiving full-time pay. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join our growing team at our new Options Autism School - Claystone School in Luton, Bedfordshire. Our New Options School will cater for pupils who have ASC and Complex Needs. Salary: Up to £36,000.00 per annum. Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 8.15am to 4.15pm. Contract: Permanent, Term Time only. Start: September 2025 or January 2026.
About The Role

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with ASC and complex needs.
* Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop individual education and behaviour plans.
* Support the physical, emotional, and educational development of each pupil.
* Maintain a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
* Contribute to school development initiatives and team meetings.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher with Early Career Teacher status (ECT).
* Passion for working with children with ASC and complex needs.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Commitment to inclusive education and ongoing professional development.
* Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse student needs.
About The School
Claystone School is a small, independent school supporting children and young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), who may also have a range of additional needs. Located in Pepperstock, Luton, the school caters for up to 48 pupils aged 4–11, providing a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where children with ASC and complex needs can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Options Autism has provided care and education to pupils, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. As part of Outcomes First Group, we are leading our sector in setting and delivering new approaches that provide measurable outcomes for those in our care. * You’ll work 80% of your contractual hours for 100% of your pay, with 4DWW subject to successful probation (not a contractual benefit).
