Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

About the Role
Long Term Futures are seeking an organised and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support young learners in an Ofsted-rated "Good" primary school in Nottingham. The role involves supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) and assisting the class teacher to create an inclusive learning environment. This long-term role offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one support for pupils with SEN.
* Create a safe, supportive learning environment through an "active working" approach.
* Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure inclusive support strategies.
* Record and monitor pupil progress and engagement.
What We're Looking For
* Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education, Early Years Educator, or equivalent.
* Proven experience supporting children with special educational needs in a primary school.
* Ability to maintain an inclusive, well-organised classroom setting.
* Desirable: experience in an "active school" or hands-on learning environment.
* A genuine passion for SEN education and helping children thrive.
