RECfinancial is currently recruiting for a Leicestershire-based business to strengthen its Payroll function by adding a new Payroll Administrator to its team.
Are you interested in a new and exciting challenge?
This is not a data entry payroll role. It is a full position where you'll be responsible for managing your part of the payroll from start to finish. Knowledge of Tax and NI is essential.
However, you'll have the support of a Manager and a team to assist you if needed.
Main Responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator
* Processing starters, leavers, and pay increases using Sage Line 50 and a Time and Attendance system.
* Maintaining accurate records of 4-weekly paid employees' attendance, holiday entitlement, and shifts worked.
* Ensuring compliance with all payroll and HR legal and financial obligations, including statutory requirements.
* Managing payroll and HR processes, including processing payroll every 4 weeks using Sage 50 Payroll.
* Handling ad-hoc, 4-weekly, and annual Inland Revenue forms, including P45s and new starter checklists.
Candidate Profile
* Previous experience in a Payroll/HR role.
* Experience with Sage 50 Payroll or similar software.
* Ability to work with detailed information and analyze or interpret data accordingly.
* Team player with good communication skills.
* High proficiency in Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

In return, our client offers:
* Salary between GBP 25,000 and GBP 30,000.
* 37.5 hours per week, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
