QHSE Manager
Location: Andover

We are seeking a highly motivated
QHSE Manager
to join our client and play a key role in embedding a culture of quality, health, safety, and environmental excellence across the business. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, this is a hands-on position where you'll be instrumental in ensuring we deliver on our promise of "on-time, first-time" to their customers.
What you'll be doing
* Driving compliance with
ISO 9001:2015
and
AS9100 Rev D
standards, ensuring the Quality Management System remains robust and effective
* Leading internal audits, managing corrective and preventive actions, and supporting external audits and customer visits
* Maintaining and improving our QMS, ensuring it adds value to the business and supports continual improvement
* Building strong relationships across all levels of the company, championing engagement in quality and safety matters
* Managing non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and NCR tracking to reduce recurrence and improve processes
* Overseeing calibration systems and ensuring equipment is maintained to standard
* Embedding ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 compliance, managing risk assessments, COSHH, and HSE systems
* Promoting safe working practices and delivering engaging training and inductions
* Supporting managers with SQDC measures, shop-floor engagement, and data-driven improvements
What we're looking for
Essential
* At least 2 years' experience in quality management to
AS9100D
or equivalent (ISO 13485 or IATF 16949 considered)
* Experience with
ISO 14001:2015
and
ISO 45001:2018
systems
* Minimum Level 4 qualification (HNC or equivalent)
* Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
* Proven auditing experience
Desirable
* Level 5+ qualification in mechanical or other engineering discipline
* NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety
* IRCA-trained lead auditor
(AS9100, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001)
* Membership of a relevant professional body (CQI, IOSH, etc.)
* Experience in a contract manufacturing environment

Working Hours
* Monday to Thursday: 8:00 – 16:45 (half-hour lunch)
* Friday: 8:00 – 15:30 (early finish)
