To provide professional communication support to senior managers and officers that contributes towards the delivery of the Council’s Housing priorities.
Working across a directorate or service, own and deliver all aspects of audience-led communication activity and priority campaigns including press, marketing, digital, internal communication, photography and copywriting.

Cheshire West and Chester Council is on an ambitious journey of transformation and exceptional communication is central to our success. We are strengthening our Communications team and looking for talented professionals who can help shape how we engage with residents, partners and stakeholders.
We have an exciting part time opportunity for a Communications Partner to support Housing Services communications and engagement activity.
You will help residents stay informed about services, support and initiatives within their communities, working with colleagues and partners to develop clear, accessible and engaging communications.
This role offers the opportunity to support resident focused communications that have a direct impact on local communities across Cheshire West and Chester.
We are looking for someone who is approachable, organised and community focused, with the ability to build strong working relationships and deliver clear communications for a wide range of audiences.
Our ideal candidate will:
1. Have experience delivering clear and engaging communications
2. Understand the importance of resident focused communications
3. Be confident working with partners and local stakeholders
4. Have strong organisational and relationship building skills
5. Be adaptable, proactive and community focused
