Salary £26,000 to £29,000 depending upon experience
The role:
Our Production Technicians perform a vital role in the assembly and testing of sub-assemblies and finished products.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working under their own initiative in a team that comprises of other assembly and test technicians. The work can be varied to suit the demands of the production schedule, and test technicians will be trained on a varied product range.
Job responsibilities:
* Assembly and testing of sub-assemblies and finished products
* In process inspection
* Basic fault diagnosis and repair
* Moulding of sub-assemblies
* Continuous improvement of processes
Qualifications and experience:
* Excellent soldering skills – a formal qualification will be an advantage
* Ability to work to defined procedures / drawings
* Comfortable working with computer systems
A strong attention to detail producing consistent high standards of quality
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* Previous manufacturing experience is essential
