Key Responsibilities
* Preparing detailed cost estimates for civil engineering and groundworks projects
* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
* Producing accurate take‑offs and pricing schedules
* Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
* Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
* Supporting bid submissions and pre‑construction activities
* Working closely with commercial and operational teams
Requirements
* Experience as an Estimator within civil engineering or groundworks
* Strong understanding of pricing, tendering, and pre‑construction processes
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Strong analytical and numerical skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
