About the Role
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Wellingborough. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a successful and supportive Science department.
This role is open to both experienced teachers and ECTs who are committed to delivering high-quality science education across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential). Specialisms in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics are all welcome.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver engaging and inclusive Science lessons across the curriculum
2. Plan, prepare, and assess student progress in line with national curriculum standards
3. Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of science
4. Support practical experiments and ensure safe laboratory practices
5. Contribute to departmental planning and school initiatives
Requirements
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
7. Specialism in a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
8. Strong classroom management skills
9. A passion for teaching and student achievement
