About the role
In this role you will play an integral part of transforming Cormac’s service delivery in Cornwall and the southwest to achieve strong, sustainable communities.This role will involve managing the incoming waste, processing and the sale and distribution of processed products from all of our 6 recycling centers located across the Cornwall and Southwest Regions.Working with other managers from Cormac and external customers, you will deliver the supply of material for the program of works.
Our expectations for the successful candidate in this role,is that you will support the continuing development of Cormac’s circular economy, contributing to a corporate approach to scheme delivery which is an integral part of Cormac’s and Cornwall Councils drive towards a greener and sustainable material solution with the focus on the provision of services and materials in new and innovative ways.

About you
We are looking for you to bring:
* A good understanding of civil engineering processes and plant operation, this includes mobile plant, crushing and screening equipment.
* Thorough knowledge of waste management regulations
* A certificate of competency in waste (WAMITAB / CIWM) is desirable.
* Experience of plant operation.
* Experience in the management of a multi-site operational team desirable.
* A Full UK Driving License
