Pupil Support Worker

Salary: £26, - £28, (pro-rata for part time and sessional)
Hours: 27.5 per week, 39 weeks sessional
Working pattern for position is Monday - Thursday 8.30 a.m. - 3.15 p.m. and Friday 8.30 a.m. - 12.25 p.m.
The is a position in an Enhanced Support Base (ESB) within Broughton Primary School. The ESB meets the needs of learners with complex, long term additional support needs who require a modified learning environment. The needs of learners are primarily associated Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Each class has a maximum of 8 learners. Pupil Support Workers work as part of a class team, along with the class teacher, and an EYP to support learners to reach their full potential.
We are looking for conscientious, committed candidates with excellent inter-personal and communication skills. There will be many training opportunities to support you in working with our children .
It is desirable that applicants should have experience working with children with additional support needs and working in schools.
