Overview
To participate in oncology patient management in clinical trials at the Cardiff Cancer Research Partnership. To become familiar with trial protocols and working practice within Velindre Cancer Service (VCS) and Cardiff Cancer Research Partnership. To promote unifying working practice in clinical trials between VCS trials unit and Clinical Research Facility (CRF) at University Hospital of Wales (UHW) and perform duties at both sites.
Responsibilities
* To conduct research within oncology trial research and contribute to the overall research performance of Velindre, carrying out research contributing to improvements in delivery of oncology clinical trials at Cardiff Cancer Research Partnership and leading to the publishing of work in high-quality journals.
* The post is also designed to generate research proposals that can be submitted to gain funding to undertake a higher research degree.
