Event Marketing Project Manager
Salary: £45k - £50k
12month contract - remote role
Grafton Recruitment is partnering with a global data technology solutions, currently seeking who are looking for a Event Marketing Project Manager to join their team on a minimum 12 month contract basis.
As an Event Marketing Project Manager, you will oversee the full project lifecycle of high-profile marketing events, managing sponsorships and delivering initiatives aligned with regional goals.
THE ROLE:
Some of your responsibilities as an Event Marketing Project Manager:
* End-to-end Event Project Management Across Major Marketing Programmes.
* Build and maintain detailed event plans, covering timelines for preparation, execution, and follow-up across multiple workstreams.
* Act as the central point of contact for all marketing stakeholders involved in the event series.
* Collaborate with regional marketing leads to ensure events are executed efficiently and within budget.
* Ensure smooth logistics and operations of all events, aligning with internal partners and deadlines, agendas, speakers and audience experience.
* Support the team with budget management of the projects
* Identify areas of improvement in the event planning and execution process.
* Attend events as needed to support on-site delivery.
* Oversee event sponsorships, including contract management and sponsorship package fulfillment.
* Build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
* Work closely with the global events team, senior executives, sales, field marketing, and other cross-functional partners to ensure a smooth delivery of impactful events.
* Identify blockers or gaps early and proactively offer solutions to keep things moving.
* Manage stakeholder feedback and business results to continuous optimization and learning.
THE CANDIDATE:
* 5+ years of event planning experience ideally in a B2B enterprise software environment, with a focus on large-scale events and sponsorships.
* Open to travel as required in support of event delivery.
* Proven skills in planning and managing multiple initiatives at once, balancing deadlines and resources.
* Excellent verbal and written communication, with a strong focus on service to both internal and external stakeholders.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and self-starting, with a metrics-driven and analytical mindset.
* Proficiency with Google Suite, MS Excel, and event management platforms (Salesforce, Jiffle, analytics tools preferred).
