Description Position Overview: As one of our Care Managers, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services, whilst overseeing the day-to-day operations over two levels of the facility, being 64 residents. You will work closely with senior leadership, staff, and residents' families to create a positive and compliant environment where both residents and staff thrive. The role requires a strong leader with excellent operational management skills, a passion for aged care, and a deep understanding of regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and mentor a multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective staffing, training, and development. Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with industry regulations. Manage a budget, resources, and finances, ensuring sustainability and financial viability. Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery, resident satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders, promoting a positive community presence. Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, legislative requirements, and accreditation processes. Drive quality assurance initiatives and risk management protocols to maintain a safe and supportive environment. Collaborate with the Aged Care General Manager towards the requirements of the New Aged Care Act Person Exemplary Leadership: A senior leader with a proven background in aged care or community services and experience in developing impactful, resident-focused lifestyle programmes. Passion for Aged Care: A heartfelt commitment to improving the quality of life for aged care residents, with a strong understanding of aged care standards and compliance. Exceptional Communication Skills: An inspiring communicator adept at building trust, engaging residents and families, and fostering a collaborative environment. Innovative Mindset: A big-picture thinker with the ability to anticipate future needs, embrace new approaches, and implement best practices in lifestyle and community engagement. Key Requirements: 3 Years minimum experience in a care manager role or similar leadership role within the aged care or health care sector. Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation processes, and regulatory requirements. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated financial acumen, with experience in managing budgets and resources. A commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and best practice in aged care. A tertiary qualification in health, aged care management, or a related field is highly desirable. Current police check Why Join Us?
