Job Description
An established M&E contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Estimator to support continued growth. The company operates across multiple sectors including Commercial, Industrial, Logistics, Healthcare, High-End Residential, Food Production, and Data Centres, delivering projects throughout the UK.
This role offers the opportunity to work on varied and technically challenging projects as part of a collaborative and supportive estimating team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing detailed electrical estimates and supporting the successful delivery of tenders for major projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Reviewing and analysing tender packages and project specifications
* Preparing detailed and accurate electrical cost estimates
* Raising and managing technical queries throughout the tender process
* Identifying risks, assumptions, and value engineering opportunities
* Ensuring all tender submissions are completed to deadline
* Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate tender records
* Collaborating with internal teams and attending project meetings where required
* Maintaining knowledge of current market conditions and industry standards
Requirements
* Proven experience in Electrical Estimating within the Building Services sector
* Strong technical understanding of electrical installations
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
