Are you a friendly, hands-on person who enjoys variety in your workday? Maritime Apartments is looking for an Operations Assistant to join our small, dedicated team. This role combines front-of-house guest services with office administrative tasks – perfect for someone who likes to get involved in all aspects of hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Reception duties: Welcoming and checking in guests, processing payments, answering calls, and responding to emails.
Office administration: Assisting with day-to-day admin tasks to keep operations running smoothly. You must be confident in using a computer and happy to learn new software. Full training will be given but the confidence and desire to learn is essential.
What We're Looking For:
* Ideally, experience in the hospitality industry or a customer-facing role.
* Basic office/admin experience (emails, bookings, payments).
* Practical and willing to take on a wide range of tasks.
* Comfortable working *independently* as you will often be the only staff member on site.
* A positive, proactive attitude and a commitment to excellent guest service.
Hours & Pay:
8.00am – 4:00pm Monday - Friday. Ad-hoc monitoring of emails and phonecalls out of hours, on a rota basis.
Pay: £ £13.00 per hour dependent on experience.
