Project Overview
Hot melt roofing works across five residential tower blocks (largest 12 storeys). Installation of Sika hot melt roofing systems, interlocking insulation, and inverted roof finishes with paving.
Role Summary
The Hot Melt Roofer will be responsible for the installation of hot melt roofing systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications, drawings, and site requirements. Works will be carried out on high-rise buildings under the direction of site supervision.
Key Responsibilities

Install Sika hot melt roofing systems to manufacturer guidelines
*
Install interlocking insulation boards and complete inverted roof build-ups
*
Prepare substrates and ensure correct detailing at upstands, penetrations, and outlets
*
Assist with laying paving finishes over inverted roof systems
*
Work safely at height and comply with site Health & Safety requirements
*
Follow method statements, RAMS, and permits to work
*
Maintain quality standards and assist with QA inspections
*
Coordinate with supervisor and site team to meet programme targets
Minimum Requirements (Essential)
*
CSCS Blue Card (Skilled Worker – Roofing) minimum
*
Proven experience installing hot melt roofing systems (Sika preferred)
*
Experience with flat roofing and inverted roof systems
*
Ability to work on high-rise projects
*
Strong understanding of Health & Safety and working at height
Desirable
*
Sika manufacturer training / certification
*
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Roofing
*
IPAF / PASMA
*
First Aid at Work
