Cheese Production Manager Leprino is seeking to appoint a Cheese Production Manager on a permanent basis. The role is based at the Magheralin site working within the Production department. To ensure the delivery of key Business goals and Operational Strategy by taking ownership and accountability for the department's performance including efficient operation, a safe and supportive working environment, continuous improvement of processes and practices. To deliver against agreed key performance indicators (KPIs) achieved through compliance with Leprino Europe standards and a focus on quality people and quality processes. The successful candidates must have: Essential: Third level qualification in Business, Engineering or Technical subject Proficient in all Microsoft office Packages At least 3 years management experience in a manufacturing environment with direct responsibility for achieving results through a team of Shift Managers / Team Leads Recruiting, coaching and developing direct reports to achieve full potential An active learner with the desire to understand the detail of the processes involved in the Production and Packing processes Confident and credible with strong influencing skills Ability to utilise resources effectively and meet demanding deadlines. Able to display initiative and apply appropriate problem solving techniques Desirable: Formal qualification or accredited training in any of the following: Business Management LEAN Manufacturing PRINCE2 NEBOSH General Cert. HR/Employee Relations Dairy background, 24 hour 7-day manufacturing operation, Working in a unionised environment Food Science and / or Engineering applications as applicable to a dairy process Organisational Development
