We are seeking a motivated and highly organised individual to provide maternity cover for the management and coordination of the research group led by Professor Andrew Cooper FRS. This large, multidisciplinary team of around 45 researchers and support staff brings together chemists, roboticists, engineers, and computer scientists, including PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and experienced technical and senior research staff. The group offers an interdisciplinary environment that encourages learning across disciplines and the application of diverse concepts to cutting-edge research. The role involves overseeing the group's managerial, administrative, and financial operations, managing internal HR matters, and supporting the preparation and submission of grants, publications, and funder reports. You will ensure smooth operations, promote staff wellbeing, and help maintain a dynamic, collaborative environment.
