Overview

Join to apply for the Hire & Sales Coordinator - Carnforth role at GAP Group Limited.

GAP Pump & Power Services Division provides advice, servicing, maintenance and repair for generators, dewatering & sewerage pump applications, including a large range of hoses, settlement tanks and water processing solutions.


Responsibilities

* Processing all hire desk administration including customer and supplier queries.
* Managing a variety of small and national account orders in a fast-paced environment.
* Ensuring sufficient stock levels to meet customer demand and maximise sales opportunities.
* Interacting with sales and workshop teams to deliver bespoke pump solutions to customers.
* Resolving customer complaints and supplier issues efficiently.


About You

* Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:
* Previous experience working within a high-volume hire desk role is desirable; full training would be provided.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Effective communicator with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficient IT skills with working knowledge of MS Office including Outlook and Excel.
* Strong team player with the ability to work on own initiative.
* While a hire background is helpful, a proven passion for customer service and the drive to learn will be supported.
