What you'll be doing
Proactively monitor CCTV, ITS, and Pay on Foot Parking equipment, responding as required by service standards.
Operate Traffic Control, CCTV, Pay on Foot Parking, Itchen Bridge toll, bus lane enforcement, and Concierge door entry systems following service guidelines.
Support the City's car parking service and Civil Enforcement teams.
Adhere to policies, procedures, and relevant legislation to fulfill obligations.
When necessary, prepare written statements related to the CCTV system or bus lane enforcement and present evidence in Magistrates or Crown Court.
Provide traffic and travel updates for the transportation network.
Respond promptly and effectively to enquiries via radio, telephone, email, or in person.
Who we're looking for
The following qualities/experience are essential:
Applicants must be over 18 years due to SIA Licencing requirements.
GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or equivalent
Demonstrates the Balfour Beatty Behaviours
Highly customer and delivery focused, meeting and exceeding customer expectations
Knowledge of standard Office IT packages
Able to communicate verbally and in writing confidently, clearly, and expressively
Knowledge of relevant legislation, GDPR, HRA
Eligible to undertake and pass SIA licence training including enhanced background checks
The following qualities/experience are desirable:
Customer Service
SIA Public Space Surveillance (CCTV) Licence
