Duties
* Have a sound working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts to general ledger level
* Be accurate and adept at processing sales and purchase invoices through Sage 50 and proficient at processing expense invoices and reconciling supplier statements
* Complete the daily sales reporting and banking in a timely manner and meet stated deadlines
* Analyse shortfalls and place orders for stock and manufactured products with suppliers in UK and abroad
* Carry out bank reconciliation and credit card reconciliation in a timely manner
* Support the Credit Control Executive and carry out debt recovery to agreed customers terms
* Liaise with company accountants on all areas of accounting
* Work effectively with internal and external customers on billing queries,
* Assist the Head of Finance in any day-to-day queries and attend finance meetings as required.
* Adhere to strict measures of confidentiality about all finance matters
* Suggest changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions
Requirements
* Experience in operating Sage 50 software with a strong background in financial responsibilities
* Strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analysis tools
* Excellent communication skills
* Desire to work in a small business which has passion to grow and scale up rapidly
* Desirable to have experience in efficiency improvements including automation and paper light strategies
* Desirable to have experience in purchase ordering and managing supplier relationships

Pay: £31,817.52-£40,000.00 per year
