I am working with an established IT Consultancy renowned for delivering scalable and sustainable software and technology solutions, and my client is looking for a Service Manager capable of vendor management; contract negotiations, delivery of cost-effective services, mediating between client and vendor and spearheading operational efficiency
As Service Delivery Manager, you will be involved with:
1. Supplier Service and SLA Reviews.
2. Reporting / forecasting operational budget spend and future demand.
3. License volumes.
4. Produce Purchase Orders, Requisitions, and associated documentation.
5. Evaluation of vendors/ bidders and technically levelling proposals.
6. Introduce terms into vendor contracts to ensure excellent levels of Service Delivery.
7. Maintain contracts and services database and aid management reporting.
8. Contribute to data improvement/ value initiatives cross-function and cross-group.
9. Investigate legacy contracts, opportunities and make recommendations accordingly.
10. Document and maintain pricing and charging mechanisms – avoid cost increases where possible.
11. Supporting Cyber Security and Connected Car Management.
Technical Skills:
12. Vendor Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all vendor-related communications and foster open lines of communication.
13. Vendor Performance Management: Establish and track vendor performance metrics and conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement strategies, as necessary.
14. Contract Negotiation and Management. Ensure all contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Monitor contract performance and address any issues that may arise.
15. Vendor Sourcing and Evaluation: Identify potential vendors, assess their capabilities, and conduct due diligence to determine their suitability for the organization’s needs.
Certifications Needed:
Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD)
