Job Purpose
To provide Security Threat assessment, design and Assurance in support of Operational systems for UK Air-Traffic Management services. Leading end-to-end security Assessment and assurance activities for Centralised security services across the organisation
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement robust security designs tailored to CNI environments, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
* Supporting principal cyber security architect in driving cyber strategy and roadmap aligned with overall NATS vision for cyber safe operational services.
Job Scope
* Identify short term design assurance that can resolve programmatic challenges without undermining safety assurance or the service roadmap.
* Negotiate on a national and international scale with organisations such as ICAO, European Union and Eurocontrol to further NATS business interests for technical design.
* Develop technology strategies with the Service Owners and Service Delivery Managers to meet NATS business objectives.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Degree in a relevant Business or IT technical qualification or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience and training.
* Subject Matter Expert in a wide range of security technologies, with working knowledge of their integration, configuration, and data needs.
* Excellent internal and external stakeholder management.
* Relevant architectural experience, including understanding of NIST, SABSA, TOGAF and Zachman or equivalent frameworks.
* Able to assimilate issues from technical, contractual and business perspectives, with pragmatic approach to security in a complex organisation.
* Good understanding of approaches to identify, quantify, and address information security or cyber vulnerabilities.
* Demonstrable experience in negotiation and influencing stakeholders.
* Sound and pragmatic decisions that consider long-term delivery and risk.
* Ability to articulate complex issues to diverse audiences, both in writing and verbally.
* Strong, credible impact with ability to resolve conflicts; build and utilise relationships with key stakeholders to achieve business goals.
* Collaborative working style focused on delivering outcomes.
* Track record of designing and delivering secure IT solutions.
* Experience developing and implementing risk mitigation plans, policies, processes, and technical controls.
* Certified to CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CCISO or equivalent.
