This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Manchester team, working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, and the wider delivery team to ensure the smooth running of fast-paced fit-out projects.
Role Overview
As a Site Administrator, you will be based on-site, providing essential administrative and document control support to the project team. You’ll be the organisational backbone of the site office—handling paperwork, managing compliance documentation, liaising with subcontractors, and ensuring information flows efficiently between the site and head office.
This role will suit someone with strong organisational skills, a proactive mindset, and previous experience within the construction or fit-out sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and update all site documentation, drawings, and compliance records.
* Manage project filing systems (both digital and hard copy).
* Process site paperwork including RAMS, permits, and timesheets.
* Assist the Project and Site Managers with scheduling and coordination tasks.
* Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely submission of documentation.
* Support the team with procurement administration and deliveries tracking.
* Ensure Health & Safety records are accurately maintained.
* Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day site operations.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience in an administrative role within the construction, fit-out, or related sector.
* Strong IT skills – proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document control systems.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all administrative work.
* Confident communicator with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
* Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently on site.
