Retail Assistant Manager
£12.73- £14.86 plus benefits

Working hours: Part time 15 hours per week (must be flexible and available to work weekends when required)
Location: Perth, Scott St Shop

We’re seeking a motivated assistant shop manager to join Cancer Research UK’s trading team. You’ll act as an ambassador, supporting the shop manager and your team to maximize income through people, resources, and stock.
You’ll be surrounded by people as dedicated to beating cancer as you are.
What will I be doing?
1. Supporting the shop manager to guide, inspire, and engage a diverse team of paid staff and volunteers.
2. Supporting the commercial operation of the store, including display, merchandising, stock management, maintaining shop standards, store layout, sales, and income.
3. Leading by example and providing excellent customer and supporter service.
4. Working with the shop manager to achieve targets for donated stock, cash, gift aid, average selling price, sell-through, and stock processing.
5. Creating relationships with the local community and Cancer Research UK colleagues.
6. Supporting the shop manager in organizing and delivering creative fundraising events to meet targets.
7. Maintaining compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, security, administration, and HR policies.
8. Deputizing for the shop manager in their absence.
9. Performing manual handling and physical activities as part of daily duties.
