Job Title: Business Support Officer Salary: £27,052 - £29,345 per annum 35 Hours per Week Location: Hybrid - Home and Wildwood County Council Offices, Worcester Team: Executive Support Team Permanent / Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2028 Please ensure that you inform your current manager that you are applying for this role The Role: We would like to appoint a well-motivated Business Support Officer to be part of a busy team providing high-quality administrative and coordination support to the SEND Improvement Programme and the SEND Quality Assurance Programme. This includes, assisting with data and audit outcomes collection and reporting, setting up and co-ordination of meetings and events and helping to ensure that programme activities are delivered efficiently. You will work closely with colleagues across services and the SEND & AP Local Area Partnership and be an effective written and verbal communicator. In addition, you will be part of the team who provides support to senior leadership for Children’s Services. Undertaking a range of business support activities to enable the service to meet its statutory obligations and provide timely and effective services to children, young people and their families. You’ll enjoy a broad range of responsibilities that make each day interesting and rewarding. The successful applicant will need to have the ability to recognise, acknowledge and have regard to confidential and sensitive matters. Reliability, ability to work individually and as part of a team, effective time management skills and computer literacy is essential. The ability to prioritise your own workload is also an essential key quality for this post. The closing date for applications is 17:00 on 3rd November.
