Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
* Identify and develop new business opportunities in the fire protection and security systems market.
* Manage and grow relationships with key clients, consultants, contractors, and system integrators.
* Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations, system proposals, and quotations.
* Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals in alignment with company targets.
Technical Support & System Design
* Understand customer requirements and translate them into suitable system designs and technical solutions.
* Provide pre-sales technical support, including system selection, schematics, and compliance with local fire and safety codes.
* Coordinate with engineering teams for detailed design, system configuration, and tender submissions.
* Conduct site surveys and liaise with customers and project teams for solution validation.
Project & After-Sales Coordination
* Work closely with project engineers to ensure technical accuracy and compliance during implementation.
* Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance to customers when required.
* Support clients during commissioning, testing, and handover phases.
* Maintain strong customer relationships post-sales to encourage repeat business.
Market Intelligence & Product Knowledge
* Stay updated on fire and security system technologies, NFPA/EN/UL standards, and local regulations.
* Monitor competitors, market trends, and pricing strategies to enhance company competitiveness.
* Participate in product training, trade shows, and technical workshops.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
* Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of experience in fire protection, security, or building automation systems sales or engineering. Experience with brands such as Honeywell, Bosch, Siemens, Notifier, Edwards, Tyco, or equivalent preferred.
* Technical Skills: Knowledge of fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, PA systems, and fire suppression systems. Understanding of system design principles and relevant codes (e.g. NFPA, SS, EN). Proficient in reading electrical drawings and system schematics.
* Soft Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Customer-oriented with a proactive sales mindset. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
