Early Years Teacher – Littlehampton
Location: Littlehampton Start Date: September 2025 Hours: 40 hours per week Salary: £33, per annum
Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join a nurturing nursery team. In this leadership-focused role, you’ll work closely with the Nursery Manager and collaborate with the Quality Excellence team to drive outstanding outcomes for children, families, and practitioners.
Role Responsibilities
As a vital part of the management team, you will:
1. Lead and support your team through daily guidance, coaching, and role modelling
2. Deliver the EYFS curriculum with flair and impact
3. Promote a fun, inclusive, and safe environment that supports each child’s growth
4. Uphold the nursery’s vision to be a leading early years provider
5. Work in close partnership with families and fellow professionals
6. Drive continuous improvement and uphold best practices across the setting
What We’re Looking For
7. A Level 6 qualification in Early Years or Education (EYTS, EYPS, QTS, PGCE, BA/BSc)
8. Experience working in the early years sector, with a solid understanding of the EYFS
9. Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire a team (previous management experience desirable)
10. Knowledge of Ofsted inspection frameworks and quality standards
11. A current enhanced DBS check
12. A warm, humorous, and professional approach with genuine passion for working with children
Eligibility Criteria:
13. Must have the right to work in the UK
14. Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate (on the update service or willingness to apply)
15. Up-to-date safeguarding training (or willingness to complete training)
16. References available upon request
