Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support – EYFS)
Plymouth | Full-time | Immediate Start (until July 2025)
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly primary school in Plymouth. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm, supporting a child in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) on a 1:1 basis.
The Role
* Provide high-quality 1:1 support, ensuring the child is fully included in classroom activities and able to access learning.
* Support social, emotional, and behavioural development, encouraging independence and confidence.
* Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to deliver tailored support.
* Create a safe, nurturing environment where the child can thrive.
About You
* Previous experience working with children in EYFS or primary education is essential.
* Experience supporting children with additional needs in a 1:1 capacity is highly desirable.
* Patient, caring, and resilient, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Able to commit to the role for the remainder of the academic year.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
