Day-to-day of the role of a Motor Vehicle Lecturer :
* Deliver engaging and informative lectures on lightweight vehicle maintenance and repair for levels 1-3.
* Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum standards.
* Assess and evaluate student progress through practical and theoretical assessments.
* Provide guidance and support to students, fostering a positive learning environment.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the automotive industry to ensure relevant and current teaching content.
* Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Motor Vehicle Lecturer role:
* Must possess a teaching qualification e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed. ( Desirable )
* Extensive experience in the automotive industry, specifically with IMI (Institute of the Motor Industry) standards.
* Proven ability to teach and mentor students at various levels of technical expertise.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Commitment to professional development and staying current with industry trends.
